The famous Hispanic I chose was Ellen Ochoa, and she was the first female Hispanic astronaut. She won the NASA's Exceptional Service Medal in 1997 along with the Outstanding Leadership Medal. She was born in Los Angeles, California in 1958 and is a mission specialist and a flight engineer. She attended San Diego State University and also received her master's degree from Stanford University. When she became the first Hispanic female to go into space, she was a part of the Discovery Shuttle in 1993, and their mission was to study the Earth's ozone layer.

I agree with Patricia Ryan. I think she is right when she says that it is important to know and learn more than one language. I think it is true because when people learn more than one language, it is easier for the world as a whole to share ideas and thoughts, as she said in her example with Einstein. I also agree with her when she says that it is important to have one universal language (such as english) but also keep other languages in existence and not have them fade away.
